- Assist customers in finding products and provide knowledge about prices and availability.
- Recommend or obtain merchandise for customers and sell add-ons.
- Total prices and tax on merchandise selected by customers, using a point of sale device to determine the bill, receive payment, and make change.
- Prepare minor estimates to be verified by supervising employees.
- Maintain a high-quality store presentation, including signage and promotional displays.
- May process merchandise returns or settle complaints within predetermined practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss, as well as calculate surfaces, volume, weights, and measures.
- High School Diploma or GED diploma preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred.

Physical Requirements- This is a largely sedentary role, requiring the ability to lift files up to 5 lbs., open filing cabinets, and occasionally bend or stand on a stool.
- Frequently use hands/fingers to handle or feel objects.
- Alternating frequent standing and walking, with occasional sitting.
Starting wages will be based on years of experience and education, with a range of $13.50 - $23.45 per hour.
