We are seeking a dedicated Deli Clerk to join our team in our retail grocery store environment, where you'll play a crucial role in food preparation and guest service.

• Provide excellent guest service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Prepare and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
• Inspect, rotate, and maintain proper temperatures and inventory levels in the deli department.
• Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to all safety standards.
• Ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Support the team by performing other duties as assigned.

• Effective Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues in a dynamic and stressful work environment, while supporting team members.

• Food Knowledge: Knowledge of the retail food business, perishable department operations, and merchandising skills.
