Job Title: CVOR First Assist Technician

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled CVOR First Assist Technician to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Canton, Ohio.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced CVOR First Assist Technician to provide top-notch care to patients in a fast-paced Cardiothoracic OR environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of recent CVOR experience and be certified in NBSTSA CSFA. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons during procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons during CVOR procedures, including vein harvesting and other complex surgeries
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients during procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures
  • Float to Main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1.5 years recent CVOR experience
  • Minimum of 18 months perm CVOR CSFA experience prior to travel
  • NBSTSA CSFA certification
  • AHA BLS required
  • Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for

Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to allied positions only (50 miles from permanent address). Epic Travel FKA Emerald Staffing Group, Allied Job ID Pay package is based on 10.0 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
