Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Paving Operator to join our team at Blount Construction Company, Inc. This is a key role in our construction process, requiring a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate asphalt paver and other heavy equipment to lay and smooth asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper functioning
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Coordinate with other crew members to ensure efficient and high-quality work
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper asphalt thickness and smoothness
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience operating asphalt pavers and related equipment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical stamina to perform manual labor as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
