Grant Writer & Researcher

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to support the growth of Midland Care by securing funding through grants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, define, and develop funding sources to support existing and planned activities of the organization.
  • Coordinate the development, writing, research, submission, tracking, and reporting of grants.
  • Function as a donor researcher for ability, propensity, and gift solicitation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or work in a related discipline with a minimum of three years of related experience and a proven track record in grant writing, research, and record keeping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in researching, interpreting, and analyzing data, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently to reach stated goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet and adhere to deadlines.
  • Certificates from the American Grant Writers Association or Grant Professionals Association a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of Word and Excel, analytical aptitude for quantifying data, and a valid driver's license.
