Occupational Therapist Clinic Specialist

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' functional abilities, including physical, emotional, cognitive, and sensory components, to determine the necessity of skilled occupational therapy intervention.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals, utilizing a range of modalities such as neuromuscular reeducation, therapeutic activity, and manual therapy.
- Discharge Planning: Ensure a smooth transition for clients at discharge, providing home exercise programs, family/caregiver instruction, and recommendations for assistive equipment and continued therapy.
- Supervision: Supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, and students, adhering to standards set by the American Occupational Therapy Association and relevant state and facility guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the healthcare team through documentation and charting, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to infection control and safety policies.
- Administer and evaluate standardized assessments to inform treatment decisions.
- Select and oversee evidence-based interventions to ensure optimal client outcomes.
- Effectively document the occupational therapy process in compliance with state and federal regulations.
