Dexter Health Care, a 53-bed full-service Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our nursing staff on a weekend shift basis. As a Weekend Warrior, you will be part of a strong clinical team providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to patients and monitor for side effects and reactions.
  • Record patient vital signs and medical information.
  • Order medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
  • Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions.

Requirements:

  • AS or BS degree in nursing.
  • Current registration/licensure in Maine.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation.
  • Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records and/or solid computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
