Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Water Jet Operator to join our team at General Tool Co. As a Water Jet Operator, you will be responsible for operating the water jet machine, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring the quality of cut parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the water jet machine to cut metals and other materials
  • Load and unload materials and parts from the machine
  • Prove programs and set offsets to ensure accurate cuts
  • Deburr and inspect cut parts for quality and conformance to requirements
  • Communicate with management and production control to resolve machining and quality issues
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean and orderly work area
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Water jet or plasma cutter experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to drive a forklift
