Job Opportunity

OG Dental is seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures, taking dental x-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and providing patients with instructions for oral care.

We are a private dental office located in the Lo-Hi neighborhood of Denver, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and creating a unique experience for both our team and patients. Our office was built in 2018 and features new equipment and the latest technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including general, endo, oral surgery, implants, invisalign, and botox.
  • Take dental x-rays and prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as mixing materials for impressions and restorations.
  • Work as a team to provide a 5-star customer experience for patients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program.
  • X-ray certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dental software programs, such as Open Dental.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
