We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access to join our dynamic team at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants in Albany, New York.
This role offers a collaborative work environment within a physician-led organization that values personalized patient care and quality treatment. Our dedicated team of providers prioritize creating customized treatment plans for patients that deliver the highest level of care.
All of our board-certified doctors specialize in gastroenterology and hepatology, with several serving as chief of gastroenterology at nearby hospitals and recognized as top-quality physicians in publications such as Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors New Jersey, and US News Health - US News & World Report.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough medical interviews to assess eligibility for screening colonoscopies/endoscopies, including collecting medical and family histories from patients and reviewing preps and scheduling procedures or office visits.
- Provide exceptional patient care during the Capsule Endoscopy procedure process by obtaining and reviewing patient medical history, providing prep instructions, placement and removal of equipment, guidance to the patient during the procedure process.
- Place and remove equipment for Capsule Endoscopies, ensuring the highest level of patient comfort and safety.
- Current NYS LPN license
- A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Intermediate level of computer skills to efficiently manage patient information and electronic health records.
- A strong ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all patients, regardless of age or condition.
- A competitive base salary: $65,000 per year
