Job Title: Post Permanency Supervisor

Bethany is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Post Permanency Supervisor to join our team. As a Post Permanency Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of assigned programs, ensuring that client families receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee cases and support groups, conducting case assignments to each direct report
  • Maintain referral information through the SWAN portal system, communicating increase and/or decrease referral needs to SWAN
  • Promote effective operations through hiring, training, and orientation of new hires
  • Conduct team supervision meetings with direct reports and interns on a regular basis
  • Build and sustain a cohesive team, cultivating a positive employee morale
  • Ensure agency policies and procedures are enforced through employee evaluations, conference requests, time sheets, and reimbursement vouchers
  • Manage employee vacation scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for program service needs
  • Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and theories, recommending changes in agency policies and practices when appropriate
  • Participate in the preparation of annual budget, goals, and objectives for the program to ensure financial solvency and meet expected financial goals
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance positive relationships with referral sources and community agencies, as well as the SWAN technical assistant
  • Provide direct services by leading Support Groups and carrying the expected numerical caseload of families
  • Attend and participate in leadership, team, and general staff meetings, as needed
  • Attend training as needed and apply newly gained knowledge in providing service
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Human Services or equivalent field of study from an accredited college
  • At least two (2) years of experience in child welfare with demonstrated knowledge of impact trauma on child development
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory, budgeting, and program development experience
  • Obtain and maintain the appropriate professional state licensure and registration, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability with providing excellent clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of impact grief and loss in adoption for all triad members
  • Demonstrated knowledge of lifelong impact of adoption across all developmental stages
  • Work well under pressure and adaptable to change
  • Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license and at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany
  • Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage
  • Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
  • Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith and Mission Statement
