Temple Health is seeking a skilled Genetic Counselor to provide expert guidance and support to patients undergoing obstetrical services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care, education, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide genetic counseling for patients undergoing obstetrical services, including genetic lab work, ultrasound, amniocentesis, CVS, PUBS, transfusion, and other fetal procedures/testing.
- Counsel patients at risk for various genetic disorders and congenital anomalies, obtaining family history and pertinent medical records.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- May coordinate and support research activities within the area of expertise.
