The Renal Registered Nurse plays a vital role in the management and treatment of patients with end-stage renal disease. This position is essential in providing high-quality, compassionate care within a supportive and advanced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient health and respond to any changes in condition.
  • Educate patients and their families about renal health and treatment options.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of Maryland (Compact Licensure accepted).
  • At least two years of clinical nursing experience, with a focus on critical care or emergency care preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from a recognized provider.
  • Specialized certifications in nephrology nursing (CNN or CDN) are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to supervise nursing staff.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and healthcare software.
