Senior Construction Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Construction Planner who is bold, curious, and innovative to lead our team in planning vertical construction projects. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for developing and managing construction schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software.

In this role, you will work closely with project managers and superintendents to plan and develop construction schedules, as well as prepare proposal and preconstruction schedules. You will also use historical production data to develop activity durations and validate construction progress, monitoring and analyzing progress on detailed construction schedules ranging from 2500 to 5000 activities.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, experience in preparing CPM schedules for vertical construction projects, and proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software. Additionally, you will be capable of managing multiple project schedules in the region and willing to travel to regional project sites to assist project teams on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage construction schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Work closely with project managers and superintendents to plan and develop construction schedules
• Prepare proposal and preconstruction schedules
• Use historical production data to develop activity durations and validate construction progress
• Monitor and analyze progress on detailed construction schedules ranging from 2500 to 5000 activities
• Reconcile discrepancies from actual vs. planned progress and facilitate an action plan with the project team
• Help develop visual schedules as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or an applicable discipline
• Experience in preparing CPM schedules for vertical construction projects
• Proficient with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Capable of managing multiple project schedules in the region
• Willing to travel to regional project sites to assist project teams on a weekly basis
• AACE PSP certified certification within 6 months of hire

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
