Job Title: Operating Room RN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care in accordance with known/accepted standards of practice and hospital policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care in accordance with the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practice and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Implement and evaluate nursing care, making recommendations for changes to the medical treatment plan as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain competency in perioperative procedures, equipment, and standards of care.
  • Assist with research and coordination of new-case-specific equipment and procedures.
  • Document patient care and assessment in accordance with hospital policy and electronic medical record documentation.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience in a Joint Commission accredited facility with an official Operating Room Training Program preferred
  • Orthopedic experience as an OR RN preferred
  • Scrub and Circulating experience preferred

Work Environment:

The Operating Room RN will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may be required to be on-call with a response time of 30 minutes or less.
