Athletic Trainer Job Description

Elliott Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide on-site athletic event coverage, including pre- and post-event requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site athletic event coverage, including pre- and post-event requirements
  • Maintain appropriate quantities of first aid/athletic training supplies required for each event
  • Communicate with the Clinical Manager, coaches, AD's, event coordinators, parents, and athletes regarding injury management, prevention, and first aid recommendations
  • Make appropriate suggestions to athletes in need of Physical Therapy and work directly with Elliott PT clinics to coordinate care
  • Produce timely and accurate records and reports to the Clinical Manager
  • Maintain established policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety, and infection control
Requirements:
  • Degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine or PT with ERA certification
  • Current MA Athletic Trainer License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR/AED certification for the Healthcare Provider
