Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compound medications according to prescriptions and established procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of compounded medications
  • Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical ingredients and supplies
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Texas Licensed Pharmacist
  • Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD required
  • Previous experience as a Compounder or in a similar role highly preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy practices, and patient care
  • Familiarity with medical management and utilization management processes
  • Strong patient service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as medication interactions

Benefits:

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance. A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
