Job SummaryThe LPN will be responsible for assisting CNAs in performing ADLs and routine care, conducting resident/patient treatments, administering medication, and accurately documenting patient information. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist CNAs in performing ADLs and routine care
- Conduct resident/patient treatments
- Administer medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care
- Submit pharmacy orders
- Accurately document and record all information
- Give injections of medication as prescribed
- Observe resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians
- Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight
- Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging
- Manage IVs, start IV drips
- Monitor fluid/food intake and output
- Observe and report resident accidents, incidents, and skin breakdowns
- Assist as directed in the admissions process
