This is an excellent opportunity to join Brown & Root as a skilled Leadman Painter. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance to other craft workers, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibilities- Provide leadership and instruction to junior painters, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
- Assist the Foreman in planning and coordinating painting projects, including preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and completing finishing touches.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including spray guns, rollers, and sandblasting machines, to achieve high-quality results.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and costs incurred, ensuring efficient project management.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in the field is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and procedures, including surface preparation, coating application, and finishing.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights without fear.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations, including respiratory protection.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A competitive salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
