\At City Light & Power, Inc., we're committed to providing exceptional electric power distribution services to our clients. We're seeking highly skilled Maintenance High Voltage Electrical Workers (Journeyman Linemen) to join our team at West Point, NY.

\Responsibilities:
\The successful candidate will be responsible for:
\- Inspecting, testing, repairing, maintaining, installing, replacing, and switching operations on transformers, switches, power circuit breakers, metal-clad switchgear line-ups, manholes, cables, protective relays, metering circuits, control circuits, and other electrical equipment used in electric power distribution at the 5kV, 15kV, and 35kV voltage levels.
- Pulling, repairing, splicing, and terminating 5kV and 15kV electrical cables.
- Consulting manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
- Preparing and maintaining reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Utilizing GPS tablets for data recording and preventative maintenance.
- Operating cranes, digger trucks, aerial trucks, tensioners, underdogs, and equipment necessary to complete related work.
- Responding to emergency callouts and remote assignments to restore electrical service as needed.
- Providing effective and timely customer service to clients and fellow team members.
Requirements:
\- Journey-level knowledge and skills in the electrical lineman trade, including proficiency in use of all tools.
- Able to work scheduled hours and for on-call hours (rotation based).
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A) required.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Become signatory to local union IBEW 1249 and pay IBEW 1249 required dues.
- Obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
