Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Opportunity

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery nurse for a travel nursing assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

As a Labor and Delivery nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. Your responsibilities will include coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and managing potential complications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients during labor and delivery
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
  • Administer medications and manage pain
  • Assist with cesarean sections and other surgical procedures
  • Provide education and guidance to new mothers
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Active RN license
