CDL Trainer Job Description

Are you a seasoned CDL driver looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with others? We are seeking a qualified CDL Trainer to join our team at International Education Corporation.

Job Summary

As a CDL Trainer, you will be responsible for training and instructing students in the safe operation of commercial vehicles. You will provide guidance and feedback to students as they learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for CDL students
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in the safe operation of commercial vehicles
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Assist students in developing their skills and knowledge
  • Meet with students to discuss their progress and provide guidance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class A CDL License
  • Minimum two (2) years of practical trucking related experience
  • A safe CDL A driving record
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of safe truck driving and all of the laws and regulations covering tractor-trailer interstate operations
