Caregiver RN

The Hospice Registered Nurse is a vital member of the Virtua Health team, dedicated to providing exceptional care to terminally ill patients in their defined living space. As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, and implement treatment plans to ensure patients' comfort and well-being.

1. Perform and document the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients receiving care in-person at their defined home.
2. Review and follow-up on family education, implemented patient care plans, and coordinated services.
3. Triage, identify, and act on changes in patient condition.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of hospice nursing experience.
• Excellent assessment skills and clinical judgment.
• Knowledge of physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of New Jersey nursing license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Current CPR certification and BLS.
