Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant Education. As a Virtual SLP, you will play a critical role in providing essential speech therapy services to students statewide, while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs, utilizing your expertise to develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Therapy Intervention: Develop and implement customized therapy interventions to enhance communication skills, leveraging your knowledge of speech and language disorders.
  • Virtual Therapy Sessions: Facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions using virtual platforms, ensuring students receive high-quality care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school teams and families to support student progress and development, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure seamless care.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports, providing valuable insights for student growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) are required, along with North Carolina state licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience and Skills: Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a remote or virtual setting, is essential. Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and passing a technical screening is also required.
  • Liability Insurance: Liability insurance is required upon start date.
