The Role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. This position involves working with PHP, Symfony, React, and Redux to build scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, well-documented code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and document project requirements by working closely with clients to ensure solutions meet business goals
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that enhances our products
  • Develop front-end elements and server-side code using the LAMP stack
  • Customize, integrate, and extend open-source content management systems (CMS)
  • Optimize applications for high performance and responsiveness
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data
  • Deliver on project plans and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow agency processes for testing, approval, and routing
  • Assist IT in server management, including periodic after-hours support
Requirements
  • Four-year degree preferred, with coursework in Computer Science or related field (i.e. Computer Programming, Mathematics, or Engineering) and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Must be comfortable working in dynamic client environments, and adjust solutions based on evolving business needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide effective technical solutions that meet business goals
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform challenges
