Personalized Therapy LLC is a multi-disciplinary Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Behavioral Health Center offering a range of services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and Psychological services. Our clinics are located in St. Mary's and Charles Counties.
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy to patients to improve their daily living skills and adapt to their environment. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide therapy to patients to enhance their daily living skills and independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to support recovery and independence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other related disorders is preferred
- Feeding experience is preferred
- Experience working with adults and pediatrics is preferred
