We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at The Bronx Inc. As a member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in providing legal guidance, supporting key initiatives, and overseeing critical compliance and risk management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on organizational business and contractual matters.
  • Support litigation efforts and ensure compliance with corporate obligations.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies, legal partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor members of the Human Resources division.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree; licensed to practice law in California (active and in good standing).
  • 7-10 years of legal experience, with a focus on education law, labor and employment law, and nonprofit corporate law.
  • Proven track record of managing complex legal matters and developing effective legal strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
