API Interaction Visualization Specialist

At Ohio Farmers Insurance, we're committed to innovation and excellence. As an API Interaction Visualization Specialist, you'll play a key role in bringing new ideas and solutions to the table to meet the desired needs of our business.

You'll be working on revising or reinventing a tool to visualize API interactions across our API landscape. To succeed in this role, you'll need skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and Algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the business unit in completing tasks assigned to them, which may include project work and day-to-day operations.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and on-the-job learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to the field or industry.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate progress, challenges, and ideas.
  • Work on projects that provide opportunities to collaborate with other interns and associates in other departments.
  • Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during the internship, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

  • Develop business skills in communication and shadowing other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records, document progress, and prepare reports or presentations as required.
  • Attend business unit meetings as assigned and create and deliver presentations.
  • Seek feedback from supervisors or mentors, actively seeking opportunities for improvement, and applying learning to enhance performance.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
  • Either actively enrolled in an academic institution in pursuit of a degree in a relevant course of study or is a recent college graduate, typically having attained a degree within the past 12 months.
  • For field roles, only: Valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.
