Job Summary

As a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment. Your expertise will involve positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies, performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner, and sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner
Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality

Requirements

BLS and ACLS certification
National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong technical skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
