Job Responsibilities

As an Infant Lead Educator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that align with our research-based curriculum.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents and other staff members to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to plan and implement activities that promote creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Documenting and sharing with parents the important milestones in a child's day.
  • Respecting and observing children's interests and intervening when needed to maintain safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Must meet all state preschool lead teacher requirements.
  • Previous experience as an infant teacher.
  • A high level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hours.
  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field.
