Job Summary

The Radiology Tech role at University Hospitals is a vital part of our Cardiac Cath Lab team. As a diagnostic imaging specialist, you will provide high-quality imaging services to help our physicians diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the acquisition of patient history and entering into Hemodynamic system and/or EMR.
  • Prep patient and attach leads, Defibrillator Pads, BP cuff and set up the sterile field.
  • Assist the Physician at the table maintaining sterile procedure. Responsible for availability of supplies and equipment keeping in mind fiscal responsibility.
  • Responsible for all duties related to Radiation Safety and Protection.

Requirements

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.

On-Call Requirements

8-10 days of call in that 6 weeks, which includes a weekend. Summer and Winter holiday. 40 minute call back for emergencies.
