We are seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Medicine specialist to join our team at Adventist Health Clear Lake. As a key member of our Live Well team, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide preventative care and treat chronic conditions using a holistic approach.

Adventist Health Clear Lake is a 25-bed Critical Access medical center in Clearlake, California, serving Lake County. Our hospital offers a range of services, including 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging, home care, ICU, laboratory, maternity, physical rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, surgery, and ten rural health clinics around the lake that provide primary care, behavioral health, dental care, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and specialty health care services.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $318,000 to $328,750 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Job Description

As a Lifestyle Medicine specialist, you will be responsible for working with patients to develop personalized wellness plans that focus on lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, mindfulness, and stress reduction. You will also collaborate with other members of the Live Well team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized wellness plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients on lifestyle changes and healthy habits
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in internal medicine and a passion for preventive care. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
