Senior Physical Therapist Specialist

At Kaiser Permanente, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physical Therapist Specialist to join our team in Harbor City, California.
Job OverviewThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced Physical Therapist to work as a clinical specialist, designing treatment programs and mentoring students and staff in their area of expertise. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care and educational opportunities both internally and throughout the region.
Responsibilities- Design and implement physical therapy treatment programs that meet the needs of patients with various conditions, including neurology, pediatrics, women's health, lymphedema, and vestibular conditions.
- Act as a resource and mentor to students and department staff in areas of clinical expertise, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and deliver in-service education programs and instruction to staff and students on topics related to physical therapy and clinical specialty.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient activities, following department policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy (BS, MS, DPT or PhD) required.
- Completion of a minimum of 200 hours of approved physical therapy continuation education required.
- Physical Therapist License (California) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required at hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in physical therapy unless they have completed an APTA credentialed residency or fellowship program.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings options, and paid time off.
