Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide training and education to patients and their families on the use of augmentative and alternative communication systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of in-service training programs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • At least three years of clinical experience in pediatric and adult populations.
