We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Med Tech for a travel contract at St Joseph Medical Center in Washington.
About the RoleThis is a travel nuclear medicine technologist position available at a hospital in Washington. The successful candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB and WA License.
Job Responsibilities- The right candidate will be responsible for performing imaging procedures such as stress tests, bone scans, Thyroid studies and GI procedures using GE, Phillips, Digirad, Toshiba equipment.
- They will also be required to assist with patient care, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Active certification in BLS, ARRT (N) and NMTCB.
- Current WA State license.
Shifts are typically from 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm, with occasional weekend requirements. Call or standby may be required.
Department Information- 5 scanners/rooms in the department.
- No floating or covering other areas required.
- Common types of imaging/studies performed: Stress tests, bone scans, Thyroid studies and GI procedures.
- EPIC EMR system used.
$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
