Swim Instructor

British Swim School of Brentwood-Antioch is seeking a dedicated and passionate Swim Instructor to join our team.

• Teach swimming skills to individuals of various age groups and skill levels.
• Emphasize water safety principles and respond to emergencies.
• Evaluate swimming abilities and adapt instruction to meet the needs of each swimmer.
• Develop and organize lesson plans to ensure engaging and productive lessons.
• Communicate effectively with students and their parents or guardians.
• Maintain a safe and clean swimming environment.
• Record student progress and ensure participants meet required standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and certifications through ongoing professional development.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard is preferred.
• Current lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with individuals of all ages.
• Knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching swimming.
