About the Role:

Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in the recovery of human tissues for transplantation and research purposes. As a key member of the MTF Biologics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of tissues, while promoting the values of donation and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform aseptic tissue recovery according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Recovery Coordinators to provide training and support to recovery teams.
  • Package tissues and coordinate shipment to the processing facility.
  • Interact with medical examiners, hospital staff, and other recovery site personnel to promote donation and answer general questions.
  • Assist in the office with chart releases and inventory control.
  • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a health or medical field.
  • Understanding of gross human anatomy.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.

Working Conditions:

May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens. Required to work 14-21 days per month, including weekends, holidays, and irregular hours.
