In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and commission critical power systems in air traffic control facilities.

This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in power engineering to support the growth and development of the national airspace system. With a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, you will work closely with electrical design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement power system designs that meet FAA requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with electrical design engineers to resolve complex technical issues and optimize system performance
  • Conduct site surveys and assess equipment load distribution to inform design recommendations
  • Participate in project planning and coordination activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and customers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience in commercial, industrial, or government facility replacement and modernization design engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of power system design principles and industry standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
