Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with various procedures performed in the Cath Lab, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic pressures, and cardiac rhythms, reporting any deviations from normal to the physician.
  • Function as an assistant to the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition to professional staff, particularly when the patient is in pain or discomfort.
  • Provide patient education pre- and post-procedure, ensuring patients are informed and empowered to manage their care.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Radiology Technologist/Cardiovascular Technologist school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience within a healthcare setting required.
