Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a Progressive Care Unit setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in Progressive Care Unit nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:
  • One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members
  • Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
  • Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate
