Job Title: CT/Xray Technologist 36hr

Cary Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT/Xray Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures with a focus on high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completes computed tomography procedures following departmental protocols and guidelines.
  • Confidently explains procedures to patients and ensures their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
  • Accurately and consistently completes required paperwork and documentation.
  • Assists front office staff in verifying orders for CT procedures and ensures accuracy.
  • Maintains current standards of practice through ongoing review of literature and best practices.
  • Completes IV starts and IV management following hospital protocol for contrast material administration.
  • Administers appropriate contrast material required to complete CT procedures.
  • Confidently explains possible IV problems and contrast material reactions to patients.
  • Completes assigned CT duties efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • State of Maine License
  • ARRT Certification
  • CPR Certification
