We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and residents in the operating room by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures, including surgical attire, hand scrub, and gloving.
- Identify and address breaches in aseptic technique.
- Reprocess surgical instruments and equipment, including decontamination, tray assembly, and sterilization.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Preferred Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology.
- Certification or re-certification in CPR within one month of hire.
- NBSTA Surgical Technologist certification within 1 year of hire.
- Familiarity with standard computer systems and software.
Full-time shifts available, including 8, 10, and 12 hour options.
