About the Concierge Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Concierge to join our team at Kota North Scottsdale. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their guests, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the front desk or office area, providing a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.
  • Offer and provide information and assistance to residents, prospective residents, suppliers, contractors, office staff, and management as needed.
  • Prepare complimentary services, such as snacks and drinks, to enhance the resident experience.
  • Accept and deliver packages to residents and property staff, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure supplies are stocked and place orders when needed, maintaining a well-stocked and organized front desk area.
  • Develop and implement resident activities, such as events and promotions, to foster a sense of community.
  • Assist the maintenance team by processing work orders, following up on completion, and filing work orders when complete.
  • Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, alerting maintenance to any issues.
  • Schedule elevator usage for resident move-ins, move-outs, and deliveries, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain tracking logs for equipment rentals, dry cleaning services, and other services provided by the property.
  • Ensure the business center is organized and equipment is working properly, providing a productive workspace for residents.
  • Develop and publish property communication, such as newsletters and flyers, to inform residents of planned events, activities, and services.
  • Communicate issues to managers or appropriate office staff, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Prepare and practice emergency plans, including evacuation, earthquake, and inclement weather drills, to ensure resident safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • At least one year of customer service experience required.
Skills and Requirements
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively and sensitively communicate.
  • Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
  • Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
  • Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Must comply with all safety requirements.
  • Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
