Job Title: Truck Driver CDL A Part Time

Ryder System is seeking a qualified Truck Driver CDL A Part Time to join our team in Shreveport, LA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to operate a 53' Dry Van trailer, delivering freight to the Shreveport and surrounding area. The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL and a minimum of 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a 53' Dry Van trailer, delivering freight to the Shreveport and surrounding area
  • Load and unload freight as required
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL with a minimum of 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years, Pass a DOT physical, Pass a Ryder road test
