Overview of the Position:

The Endocrinologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hormonal diseases and conditions related to the endocrine glands. The ideal candidate should possess a medical degree from an accredited institution, completion of a residency program, and Board Certification or Eligibility.

Knowledge/Skills:

- Ability to detect and diagnose thyroid conditions, hormonal causes for infertility, diabetes, tumors, and other gland-related diseases

Essential Job Functions:
- Sees patients and reviews their basic medical history
- Conducts exams and tests to determine the likelihood of endocrine gland-related issues
- Analyzes lab results and patient symptoms to arrive at a conclusive diagnosis
- Devises and assigns proper treatment
- Advises surgery when necessary
- Works with other specialized physicians to treat and cure certain conditions
- Writes and renews prescriptions for medications
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Follows up with patients to track their condition
- Provides advice for daily management of diseases or conditions

Salary Estimate:
$220,000 - $280,000 per year, based on national averages for endocrinologists in the United States.
