Job Title: Speech Pathologist PRN
Job Summary:
The Speech Pathologist PRN is responsible for providing clinical services to patients with disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. This position requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and current state licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
- Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers.
- Provide clinical services utilizing standards of care and evidence-based practices.
- Comply with department and regulatory requirements and guidelines for documentation, charging, and scheduling.
- Supervise and educate colleagues, new employees, and students.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with professionals, patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state Speech Pathologist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current certificate of clinical competence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Speech Pathology experience.
- Hospital experience.
- Experience with the target population to be treated.
- Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.

The hourly range for this position is $63.59. Intermountain Health offers a comprehensive benefits package to its caregivers.
