We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at the Walbec Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for coordinating with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to resolve project issues and conflicts
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on site management and project coordination
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
