The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Behavior Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing behavior analysis services for students in SESI School programs. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement behavioral programs that assist SESI students in acquiring the skills necessary to be independent as possible in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Promote effective interpersonal relations with students
- Maintain records of students and prepare periodic reports as required
- Plan evidence-based interventions appropriate for individual students and groups of students
- Conduct assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies
- Adjust intervention strategies based on student performance and data collection
- Analyze and interpret information to make relevant school-based recommendations regarding the need for educational services
- Manage facilities, materials, and equipment necessary to the delivery of services
- Coordinate behavioral services with student services provided by other school personnel
- Provide information on an informal or formal basis regarding behavioral functioning through consultation, trainings, and/or professional development
- Develop draft Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on students' strengths and needs
- Engage in continuing education and professional growth activities related to school psychology
- BCBA certification is required or in process
- Adhere to established rules, regulations, laws, and appropriate ethical standards
- Demonstrate awareness of professional performance in due process matters and litigious environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
