Avita Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the continuity of care between shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants, LPNs, and other supportive staff members.
- Participate in patient and family education, promoting health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS ACLS certification.
- Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
- Previous telemetry experience.
- PALS certification (for charge-trained nurses).
