Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse

We are in search of a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, also known as our Cath Lab RN or IR Nurse at Prime Healthcare. The role of a Cath Lab RN is crucial in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of cardiac catheterization procedures, playing a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions within the cardiac catheterization lab.
Compensation Package:
Up to $25,000 in bonuses (disbursed over 90 days, 1 year, 1.5 years, and 2 years)
Available Shifts:
Day shifts, 4/10 schedule with occasional on-call duties.
Employment Type:
Full-Time or PRN
Work Schedule:
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and elderly populations, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects related to the surgical environment.
- Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions.
- Assist in the upkeep of equipment and inventory, ensuring readiness of procedure rooms and equipment.
- Procure necessary supplies for individual cases, meeting the needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team.
- Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
- Continuously observe and document patient conditions while in the Cardiovascular lab.
- A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Valid State of Georgia license or Compact RN license.
